Third International Conference “QUALITY AND COMPETENCE 2017”

The Third International conference QUALITY AND COMPETENCE 2017 organized by MAKLAB and IARM was held in hotel Sileks, Ohrid from 14th to 16to of September 2017.
MSc. Magdalena Trajkovska Trpevska-president of MAKLAB, Mr. Trpe Ristoski-director of IARM, Mr. Alvaro Silva Ribeiro-president of EUROLAB and Mr. Davor Zvizdic-president of CROLAB have addressed the participants wishing them a successful conference.
The conference was officially declared opened by the Macedonian Deputy Minister for environment and physical planning.
During the conference, 30 papers were presented, 17 by oral presentations and 13 posters. The presented papers were of a great interest for the participants. Within the conference a regional meeting of the national accreditation bodies was held.
The Third international conference QUALITY AND COMPETENCE 2017 hosted 97 participants from Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Portugal, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Turkey and Albania.

 

One day training “Validation and verification of methods in testing laboratories, calibration laboratories and medical laboratories and calculation and implementation of measurement uncertainty”.

On 7th of July 2015 at hotel Kontinental MAKLAB has organized a training for “Validation and verification of methods in testing laboratories, calibration laboratories and medical laboratories and calculation and implementation of measurement uncertainty”. Trainers for this event were experts from the Institute for Accreditation of Republic of Macedonia and the Bureau of Metrology. This training has aroused a great interest among the Macedonian testing laboratories, calibration laboratories and medical laboratories. This is another indication of the need for constant knowledge upgrading for quality systems implementation especially in the field of validation and verification of methods which is a key factor for effective and competent testing and calibration.

Training ” CE-marking as a precondition for the free movement of goods in the EU “

Trainers were Mr. Trpe Ristovski- Director  of IARM, Mr. Dragan Velevski head of the department for accreditation of calibration laboratories, Ms. Biljana Dodevska Stojanovska – State advisor for EU integrations and international co – operation from the Ministry of economy of RM.The training was organized on the principle of training course where participants through lectures, practical exercises and exchange of experiences gained new and upgraded their skills  associated with CE-marking process.

The training was attended by representatives from the construction industry, electrical industry as well as universities in Macedonia, which clearly demonstrated the need for an organization of this type of training.
The positive evaluation of the training by the participants as an incentive for MAKLAB towards achieving its strategic objectives and that is an organization of professional conferences, seminars, lectures and training related to the use of systems for quality improvement

 

 

Celebration of the World cccreditation day

At the invitation of the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia, President of the Macedonian Association of laboratories and inspection bodies – MAKLAB, MA. Magdalena Trajkovska Trpevska attended the celebration of the World Accreditation Day June 9.
The welcoming speeches at the event were held by:
– Mr. Spiro Ristovski, Minister of Education and Science in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia;
– Mr. Dejan Boskovski, General Manager of JSC “Macedonian Power Plants”;
– Mr. Borce Razmoski, President of the IARM’Council and
– Mr. Trpe Ristoski, Director of IARM.
With this year’s theme of the International Day of accreditation, “Accreditation: Ensuring trust in energy supply, “emphasizes the role of accreditation and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the need to introduce measures in the field of energy efficiency. The guests, associates, representatives of conformity assessment bodies, as well as representatives from the electricity sector and the scientific and educational institutions, had a chance to see the promotion of the first video regarding the work of the Institute.
Also, the Annual Work Report of IARM for 2013 and a brochure focusing on this year’s motto were promoted within the ceremony.

Training ” Preparing for Accreditation of Laboratories in accordance whit MKS ISO /IEC 17025:2006 “.

On April 24th and 25th 2014., Macedonian Association of Laboratories and Inspection Bodies, organized two day training whit the theme of ” Preparing for Accreditation of Laboratories in accordance whit MKS EN ISO / IEC 17025:2006 “.
Trainers were Mr. Trpe Ristovski- Director of IARM, Mr. Dragan Velevski head of the department for accreditation of calibration laboratories, Ms. Anita Talaja Borota – head of unit for accreditation of testing laboratories.
The training was organized on the principle of training course where participants through lectures, practical exercises and exchange of experiences gained new and upgraded their skills associated with the application of standard MKS EN
ISO / IEC 17025:2006 “.
The training was attended by 23 participants from the testing and calibration laboratories of several areas that clearly demonstrated the need for an organization of this type of trainings.
The positive evaluation of the training by the participants is encouragement for MAKLAB towards achieving its strategic goals and that is the improvement of quality and competence of laboratories and inspection bodies in the country.

 

Training “Documentation management and staff competence in medical laboratories in accordance with EN ISO 15189:2013 and National requirements for accreditation of medical laboratories”

According to the program of work in 2014, the Macedonian Association of Laboratories and Inspection Bodies -MAKLAB on 08 and 9 April 2014, organized a two-day training on the theme “Documentation management and staff competence in medical laboratories in accordance with EN ISO 15189:2013 and National requirements for accreditation of medical laboratories”

The training attracted great interest in medical laboratories within the clinical centers in Skopje, Bitola and Stip, as well as in laboratories within the private clinics.
Presenters were Mr.Trpe Ristovski – Director of IARM, Ms Anita Talaja Borota – head of unit for accreditation of testing laboratories and Mr Lirim Isahi – Representative of the Ministry of Health.

According to the conducted evaluation, training was successfully evaluated by participants and confirms the commitment of MAKLAB to the process of accreditation of medical laboratories in the country.

Annual Assembly of MAKLAB for 2014

On 12th of February 2014 the Annual Assembly of the Macedonian Association of Laboratories and Inspection bodies – MAKLAB was conducted. In the presence of representatives of Maklab members and representatives from IARM, the president Msc. Magdalena Trajkovska Trpevska has presented the activities of Maklab in 2013. The representatives have agreed that the undertaken activities were very successful. Also, the working program for 2014 and the plan for activities in 2014 were presented, discussed and approved by the assembly.

MAKLAB has organized one-day training on the theme “Assessment of measurement instability”

According to its work program for 2012, Macedonian Association of Laboratories MAKLAB has organized one day training on the theme “Assessment of measurement instability” . The training was held in the Training center of IARM on 10th of December.

This training was organized, in order to enable the interested laboratories to familiarize themselves with assessment of measurement instability. This training course was organized with the principle of training course, where participants through lectures, practical exercises and exchange of experiences have gained new knowledge of the measurement instability.

Lecturer of the training was Ms. Jelena Bebic, MSc who has many years experience in holding trainings, between which 13 trainings on the theme of “Principe and use of meteorology in chemistry” , training on the theme of measurement instability in the Directorate of measure and precious metals as well as training course on the theme “ Measurement instability” with special accent on the procession of statistical data, calculation of measurement instability and validation methods for calibration laboratories in the Serbian agency for protection of environment, that is under Ministry of Environment.

Participants at this training were coming from many accredited laboratories and inspection bodies from different fields, which is ultimate indicator of the interest for this type of trainings.

MAKLAB organized a two day training “Application of the standard МКСEN ISO/IEC 17020:2006 and information on the changes of MKC EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012”

According to the work program of 2012, the Macedonian Association of laboratories MAKLAB has organized a two day training with the theme of “Application of the standard МКС EN ISO/IEC 17020:2006 and information on the changes of MKC EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012”. The training took place in the Training center of IARM on 30th and 31th of October 2012.

The training was organized in order to enable the interested laboratories to familiarize themselves with the standard МКС EN ISO/IEC 17020:2006 and the changes that are made in the new standard. The training was organized with the principle of training course, where participants through lectures, practical exercises and exchange of experiences have gained new knowledge of the standard and the changes that are made.

Lecturers of the training were Mr. Trpe Ristovski – director of IARM, Mr. Dejan Stojkovski – manager of the sector for accreditation of inspection bodies, Mr Teodor Shutarov – coordinator for accreditation of inspection bodies as most competitive in regards of the presentation of demands of the standard 17020.

MAKLAB participated at the conference “Competences of laboratories”

Representatives from the Macedonian Association of laboratories MAKLAB participated at the conference “Competences of laboratories” that was held 10th to 13th October 2012 in Shibenik, Croatia.

This conference was organized by the Croatian Association of Laboratories – CROLAB that has signed Memorandum for collaboration with MAKLAB.

Participants at this conference were representatives from laboratories from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and also the President of the European Association of Laboratories – Eurolab Mr. Jiri Sobola, who had a meeting with the President of MAKLAB, Ms. Magdalena Trajkovska Trpevska , where they discussed about the possibility for MAKLAB to join EUROLAB.
